Today I had the pleasure of talking to Ceili-Lea Store Manager of Luton store. First let me say how professional and polite she was on the phone. She went out of her way to help me with my enquiry. To the upper management of Shurgard, I hope you realise what a great employee you have.
It only let's me give five stars, but she definitely deserves 10 or more.

I had a genuinely great experience with Shurgard Luton and wanted to highlight the staff who made the whole process smooth and stress free.
Tony from the sales team was extremely helpful on the phone. He explained the pricing, the best unit size for my needs, and all the technicalities clearly, without making me feel pressured to book. It was refreshing to speak with someone who was both knowledgeable and patient.
Ravi from the Leicester store assisted me over the phone when I needed to change my move in date. He handled everything quickly and efficiently and made sure I knew exactly what to do on the day.
At the Luton store, Céilí-Lia was fantastic. She helped orient me on arrival, added someone to my unit access, processed my lock return, and made the whole check in process effortless. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping which made such a difference.
I even told my partner how impressed I am with Shurgard overall. The company is clearly doing a great job recruiting customer facing staff who actually care about providing effective, high quality service which is something that feels increasingly rare these days. I truly hope the staff are remunerated well because they are the reason I chose Shurgard in the end.
Additionally I'm pleased with the price and the town center location.
Additional note: I've used other large storage companies in the past, and this is the only business I would highly recommend.

Originally booked for 1 Dec and subsequently amended at my requedt to late Nov - no problem.
I downloaded the app and Chris set up the access stuff for me.
Moved stuff into the unit this weekend, was really easy with trolleys provided.
Received a follow up call today to ask if everything had gone OK.

We've been using Shurgard in Luton for several years and the help that Chris and Shanice have given us when we visit is second to none.
The units are perfect for what we need them for and would highly recommend to people looking for a storage unit in a good central location for both Car, Van or Train visits

All the people at customer service are knowledgeable, information is clear, they'll go out of their way to find the best deal for you even if it means they lose out on up selling service is friendly at all times of day. Get your own insurance though it is cheaper.
