Never hired storage before, went in to the Stevenage branch to ask a series of stupid questions and was very patiently delt with by Luke. No heavy handed sales tactics just answered my questions showed me round and was just amazingly helpful. Great service. Thanks Luke :)

I can’t recommend Shurgard Stevenage highly enough. From the moment I first enquired, the customer service has been absolutely spot on. The staff were welcoming, professional, and took the time to walk me through all the options without any pressure. They made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward.
The facility itself is spotless, well-lit, and clearly well looked after. Security is top-notch, which really put my mind at ease knowing my belongings were safe. I also really appreciated how easy it was to access my unit — flexible opening hours and a simple PIN entry system made the whole thing hassle-free.
Pricing was clear with no hidden fees, and I liked that I could reserve a unit online before visiting. Everything just felt really well organised from start to finish.

Did the rental agreement entirely online - none of the "give us your phone number so we can quote for you" malarky.
Nipped into the office earlier in the week to check where everything is and received friendly, efficient advice from the staff there.
The facility is clean and well laid out. Plenty of trolleys available.
The security app works a treat.

Visited the Shurgard self storage today and was helped by Luke, who was excellent - talked me through everything, answered all my questions and helped me find a unit which meets my needs perfectly. Very smooth and would recommend!

We looked at 3 separate places, for our needs and with the price Shurgard was the cheapest over 3 months for the size we wanted(30sq ft). Do buy your own padlock as otherwise the ones that they and the other companies provide are more expensive.very happy with the shurguard staff. Luke showed myself and my wife around and it was a good setup. Luke also helped my wife with her phone settings and helped her with the app that they use to make it easy to get in and out of the premises. Very helpful, I would recommend them.

Recently took on a rental unit. Luke although apparently the newest member of staff was excellent and showed my daughter and I more units than we can remember with a smile and courtesy. The units are excellent, with a warm feel to them, access is excellent so can only say well done to the team at Stevenage as they have all been really helpful this week. Would definitely recommend and £1.00 for the first month is a nice start. 👍🏼👏

My experience with the team at Shurgard Stevenage storage was outstanding, especially Ms. Chelsea, who was very friendly and helpful. The introduction of the Shurgard phone app to help manage monthly invoices is a big benefit. I am looking forward to being able to access the building (out of hours?) with the app in the future too.
Whole facility is always kept clean and tidy. It is well lit and kept at a good temperature.
It is a massive plus that the team will receive and hold deliveries in your absence.

We popped in today to get a quote and Chelsea was very helpful and friendly. Pricing compared to other storage units was amazing and we got to move in that day. The flexibility of these units too is brilliant.
