Not even being funny here… this experience was joyful

Seriously moving is stressful but this place actually brought joy to me!

Plenty of parking
They have trolleys and lifts to move your stuff
They are open until 9pm every night.. even your first night. You don’t have to to meet anyone or fill out paperwork. It’s all in the app and sorted for you!

I booked my unit at Shurgard Alperton for same-day storage via telephone and was told I had an hour to get there with my ID before closing. I arrived at 5:20 pm and met Keri-Ann, who assisted me through the process. Unfortunately, my phone wouldn’t allow me to download the app, and it took quite a while to get me connected — eventually, we had to use my partner’s phone.

By the time we finished, it was around 5:50 pm. As we were heading to the unit after offloading some items, the app displayed a “restricted zone” message. We went back to Keri-Ann around 6 pm (closing time), and she was so patient and kind — not once did she rush or get irritated. My partner explained that the app was showing a different unit, and she immediately offered to show us where it was or to correct the system so we could access the original one.

We decided to keep the original unit, and Keri-Ann stayed beyond her time to sort everything out and make sure we gained access — all with a smile on her face. I honestly felt more anxious about keeping her from going home than she did!

Excellent customer service — thank you, Keri-Ann, for going above and beyond.

Spoke to Brad about a payment issue I was having (I'm chronically disabled, also have extreme anxiety); he talked me through the process, supplied me with the correct link, and even stayed on the phone with me so he could verify from their end that the payment had been successful.
