I was looking for only a month’s storage whilst moving home when I was recommended Shurgard Storage with their £1 for the first month offer. I signed up online whilst at a coffee shop, with the process straightforward. Within a short space of time, the email came through confirming my storage unit and details to log into an app.
The app itself does everything, opens the secured gates, the access door to storage and the lifts to the different levels. The storage facility had multiple trollies available. Upon arrival to my designated locker, I took off the tag and inside was the lock I paid for during signup.
Overall, very easy to access the unit, despite only one working lift.
Had a call from David soon after, welcoming me to the unit and answering any questions I had. Genuine and friendly gentleman.
Can’t comment on long term use as I’ll only be using it for a month, but happy so far with how things are going and would recommend.

Amazing facility - competitively priced and great ground support from Mani at the Chiswick branch .. they need one more person to support him though to make sure he is looked after too.

Chris at Epsom was amazing today. I’m looking to move my storage locker to a different location and increase the size and he spent loads of time with me talking through sizes and prices. He’s got great customer service and really made sure I understood all the options. TBH I wouldn’t consider using a different storage company now as Chris has been the best

Chris at Surbiton was excellent! I lost the key to my locker when my car was stolen and Chris sorted me out as soon as we let him know by replacing the lock. I was also interested in upgrading my locker to a larger one and he spent lots of time with me going through the options and prices. I’d really recommend Surbiton surguard for storage.

Massive thank you to Kieran and Ryan, who went the extra mile in helping us transfer our account from one unit to another. We’d been told the wrong info on the phone by another colleague, so despite ringing in advance and being told we could sort it on site, when we turned up to transfer our unit we found out that we would need to sort out the paperwork with another branch elsewhere in Croydon. Kieran and Ryan happened to be at the unit and stepped in and helped coordinate with the other branch. They sorted everything within 20 minutes and then took us to our new unit - they were incredibly helpful and really pleased and grateful for the service they provided, thank you!

The best thing about this company are the staff. They are ever present , which is a real bonus when other similar companies run these places remotely and I personally worry about security and customer service if anything goes wrong. The staff here are all mature, approachable and friendly.They make it a hassle free, almost enjoyable experience visiting. The place is clean, tidy, well lit and well run. There's plenty of different shapes and sizes of unit available and there are trollies there to assist you lugging stuff. Folks store stuff as a last resort when all other storage solution options run out. Shurgard makes the burden of having to store your gear remotely less painful and this place is accessible and there's always plenty of parking and help available should you need it. The first month free is almost too tempting to ignore and this place and the efficient, effective staff make the inconvenience of having to store stuff remotely less of a chore.

We had a great experience using Shurgard for our storage needs. The facility is clean, secure, and well maintained, so we felt confident leaving our belongings there. The staff (if im not wrong her name is Kayla/Kaoa) were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very informative. They took the time to explain everything clearly and helped us choose the best storage option for our needs. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommended!
